Freshman Soto Shines On Women's Water Polo Sophomore Day

The Pasadena City College women's water polo team celebrated its three sophomores prior to its South Coast Conference game against Chaffey at the Lancers' off-campus pool located at Polytechnic High. Wnile the Panthers defeated the Lancers, 21-6, it was freshman Alina Soto who impressed late in the match.

An All-South Coast Conference First Team selection as a freshman, Pasadena City College women's water polo goalie Gloria Gray is talented in a number of ways. Her strong right arm has been utilized to try to set up plays out of timeouts and she has been known to take the long-range shot at mid-pool or even closer in.
