Bio

Sabiya Esquivel is a returning outside hitter from the 2021 Lancers, a team that finished 23-2 and went undefeated to win the then 9-team South Coast Conference championship. An All-SCC Second Team selection, she averaged 2.36 kills per set and collected 13 kills in the team's exciting, 5-set victory over Mt. San Antonio in the SCC Tournament title match. Esquivel is a business adminstration major.

Women's Volleyball Closes Regular Season With 17th Sweep

After being a key hitter during the 2021 South Coast Conference championship season, Sabiya Esquivel took time off from the sport only to return this season as a role player for the '25 Lancers. Coming off a 4-set loss at #14 Moorpark on Sept. 3, the Pasadena City College women's volleyball team knew the importance of facing two more State Top 25 ranked teams at the PCC Quad on Friday.
