Of the 19 victories accomplished by the Pasadena City College women's volleyball team, 17 have come via a sweep. The state #15-ranked Lancers defeated visiting Cerritos, 25-20, 25-17, 25-10, in a South Coast Conference crossover finisher, marking the end of the 2025 regular season on Friday night.

The Lancers (19-6 overall) await both the annoucements of players making the All-SCC North Division Team as well as their official seeding for the upcoming Southern California Regional Playoffs. PCC was 10th in RPI as of Nov. 15 a.m. If that holds up, Pasadena would play on the road in Round 2 of the playoffs on Tuesday, Nov. 25. They will learn Tuesday of exact seeding which will be released on this website.

If PCC is through with home matches, it was a good run in '25 with a 13-2 record at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.

Head coach Mike Terrill continues to tinker with his lineup as he is hoping to put out the best rotation the Lancers can put together for what will be the program's eighth straight postseason appearance going back to 2017. Terrill has a .682 win percentage (144-67 record) in his nine seasons directing PCC, including four SCC titles.

One player who has emerged of late is freshman middle blocker Samantha Munoz Gomez, who excelled in a starting role v. Cerritos with seven kills (hit .500 in 10 swings) and five blocks (one solo).

The team has leaned on mostly freshmen in the main rotation including top outside hitter and maybe the team's best all-around player Bobbie Torres (11 kills, .409, three aces, 13 digs, and two blocks), middle blocker Delaney Blied (four kills, two blocks on ace), and setter JanetMarie Reyes (13 assists, two aces, five digs). Sophomore libero Juyeon Lee added 12 digs.

Frosh outside hitter Leah Millage floored four kills as did second-year opposite Mahrie Bedjakian. Freshmen in OH Payton Scott, opposite Izzy Taylor, setter Julianna Wilson (nine assists, four digs) and defensive specialist Jayleen Almaraz along with sophomore OH Sabiya Esquivel have also been regulars in the rotation.
