Women's Soccer Road Warriors, 6-2 Away From PCC

Whether or not they are just more comfortable on the bigger road fields, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team has enjoyed their games in their visiting white jerseys. The Lancers improved to 6-2 in road games this year with a 1-0 win at LA Harbor College on Tuesday. It was a South Coast Conference crossover game, which does not affect divisional standings.

Women's Soccer Gains Tie, But ELAC, SCC North A Problem

After the best start in PCC women's soccer history with six straight victories, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team has hit a rough patch. The Lancers saw a 7-match undefeated string (6-0-1) ended in their South Coast Conference North Division opener Sept. 29 when they were beaten by Chaffey, 3-0. On Tuesday, PCC worked hard to earn a 1-1 tie against East Los Angeles, but it continued a tough stretch of games dating back to last year in divisional play.

Women's Soccer Best Start In 9 Years

When the Pasadena City College women's soccer team won its season opener against West Los Angeles Aug. 25, it was the first time since head coach Reggie Rivas arrived at PCC as an assistant in 2011 that the Lancers won their first match. On Tuesday evening, PCC dominated Glendale, 2-0, and it marked the first 2-0 start by a PCC team in nine years. Both victories were at Robinson Stadium.
