Pasadena City College men's track and field sprinter Anthony Pequeno beat his state's fastest time in the 200 meters on Saturday at the Cerritos Open. Pequeno posted a season-best 21.67 seconds to place second overall behind an unattached runner. His previous high this season was 22 flat.
Freshman Aidon Phillips won the 150 meters and was part of the 4x400 relay victory to highlight the Pasadena City College men's track and field team's performances at the South Coast Conference Opener meet held Friday at El Camino College.
