Pasadena City College women's freshman runner Christina Elizalde placed 100th overall out of 211 harriers at the CCCAA State Cross Country Championships held at Fresno's Woodward Park Saturday. 

Running as an individual, Elizalde (Duarte High) completed the 5-kilometer race in a time of 20 minutes, 36.5 seconds. The only other Lancer to qualify for state was freshman Franceska Millanponce (Temple City HS), who was not far behind Elizalde (pictured) in 107th at 20:41.3.
