The Pasadena City College women's water polo team used its fourth place finish this year at the conference tournament to earn four selections on the 32-player, All-South Coast Conference First and Second Teams.
The Pasadena City College women's water polo team performed its highest finish in the South Coast Conference in 12 years in placing fourth at the SCC Tournament Nov. 7-8. The Lancers ended the season 8-18 overall but a solid 5-5 in conference matches.
One of three players playing likely for the final time at the Aquatic Center, Fernanda Alvarez made the most of Sophomore Day as she scored three goals to help the Pasadena City College women's water polo team defeat East Los Angeles, 10-7, Wednesday afternoon.
