Michael Ledford continues to be Coach Terrill's main assistant coach, beginning his sixth season at PCC in 2025. He was promoted as well to associate head coach starting this season.

Ledford joined Terrill's staff in 2019 and helped guide the 2021 squad to one of the finest seasons in PCC volleyball history, finishing 23-2, a perfect 18-0 run to the South Coast Conference title and as high as a #3 state ranking in the CCCWVCA Top 25.

Since his arrival, PCC teams have been a perennial qualifier for the SoCal Regional Playoffs.

Besides his work at PCC, Ledford is head coach for both Whittier High's girls volleyball team and beach squad, which he helped launch there in 2023. Over his 10 seasons at Whittier, he has accumulated more than 125 victories and five CIF postseason berths. Last year, Ledford directed a CIF semifinals appearance and a CIF State Playoff qualification, the first in school history.

As part of a 17-year career thus far in coaching, Ledford is co-owner of the Icon Volleyball Club in Whittier. Earlier this year, he assisted his Icon 18 Adidas team to a SoCal Top 25 ranking, a silver medal at the Sierra Junior National Qualifier tourney, and a bronze medal finish at the USAV Junior National Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A native of Whittier, Ledford played at La Serna High, helping the boys volleyball team to two CIF playoff appearances and a Del Rio League title, the first in 14 years by the school. He was named All-Del Rio League Second Team as well as San Gabriel Valley All-Area as a senior outside hitter, graduating in 2008. 

Ledford earned a bachelor's degree in classic Roman civilization, and a minor in both U.S. and ancient history, as a a graduate of Long Beach State.
