Women's Swim Season Ends With Hale Earning Pair Of State Top 8 Medals

Nickey Hale closed out her fine Pasadena City College women's swimming career with a pair of top 8 finishes at the 3C2A State Swimming and Diving Championships held May 4-6 at East Los Angeles College. The Lancers placed 24th overall out of the 35 schools participating with 41 scoring points.

Pasadena City College's Nickey Hale scored a state medal for the second straight year with her seventh place finish in the 500-yard freestyle during Day 1 of the 3C2A State Swimming and Diving Championship at East Los Angeles College on Thursday.

Pasadena City College women's swimmer Nickey Hale rallied from four seconds behind at one point to win the 400-yard individual medley gold medal at the 2023 South Coast Conference Championships held April 20-22 at East Los Angeles College. The sophomore Hale won the IM crown for the second straight year and finished with three conference titles in her two seasons.

PCC Women's Swim Wins SCC Opening Dual

For the first time since 2020, the Pasadena City College women's swim team won a dual meet as the Lancers downed Chaffey, 94-80, in the South Coast Conference opener for both teams at PCC's home away from home--Polytechnic School in Pasadena.
