Badminton Still In Hunt For SCC Title

With Wednesday's 19-2 win over East Los Angeles, the Pasadena City College women's badminton team still has an outside chance of tying Irvine Valley for the 2022 South Coast Conference team title. The Lasers all but have a share of the crown at 6-0 in conference matches, but PCC is 4-1 in second place.

While it stung to see the end of a 51-match South Coast Conference winning streak last week, the Pasadena City College women's badminton team regrouped and routed a 4-player ladder at East Los Angeles, 21-0, on Friday.

Badminton's 51-Match, South Coast Conference Win Streak Snapped By Irvine Valley

A South Coast Conference winning streak that started when Pasadena City College women's badminton head coach Jen Ho took over the program in 2015 came to end Wednesday. Irvine Valley stopped the Lancers' 51-match conference win string, 14-7, at PCC's Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.
