Sophomore Maxime Slek ran a time of 22 minutes, 4.8 seconds as the lone Pasadena City College men's cross country racer at the 3C2A State Championships held Saturday morning at Fresno's Woodward Park.
Slek covered the 4-mile course in 109th place out of 194-racer field as the first Lancer to qualify for the state meet since Philycius Oey made it to the 2021 finals.
