Camacho Helps Lancers Men Take 7th At Mt. SAC Cross Country Invite

Danny Camacho placed 44th and teammate Teddie Wen was 45th as the Pasadena City College men's cross country team scored seventh at the 77th Mt. SAC Invitational held Friday at Mt. San Antonio College.

Camacho became the fourth different Lancer to run the team's fastest time in four meets. He raced the 4-mile course in 24 minutes, 11.8 seconds while Wen was right behind him at 24:12.2.

Following that duo was Benicio Haro in 52nd place (24:30.5), Jake Rogel in 63rd (25:08), then three Lancers in consecutive places in Edgar Valenzuela (68th, 25:28.3), Dylan La Marsna (69th, 25:28.6), and John Sanchez-Lopez (70th, 25:32). 

Other PCC racers included Edgar Flores in 81st (26:35) and Claudio Reynoso in 106th (31:27).

In all 10 teams scored at the event with Mt. SAC winning as the host team.

Pasadena will return to the Mt. SAC course on Friday, Oct. 31 as it takes part in the South Coast Conference Championships.
