Wen's 24th Top Men's Cross Country Time At BC Invite

Sophomore Teddie Wen ran a personal best 22 minutes, 17 seconds to place 24th out of 106 racers at the Bakersfield "BC" Invite held Oct. 3. Wen helped the Lancers place sixth among nine teams participating.

Following Wen on the 4-mile course for the Lancers were Maxime Slek in 27th (22:19.58), Benicio Haro in 52nd (23:40), John Sanchez-Lopez in 54th (23:49.24), and Dylan La Marsna in 55th (23:52.98).

Non-scoring runners for PCC included Edgar Valenzuela in 62nd (24:20), Jake Rogel in 73rd (25:18), Aidan Montes in 89th (28:21.60) and Claudio Reynoso in 96th (30:03).

PCC South Coast Conference foe Cerritos won the team title with three of the top four individual places occupied by Falcons runners. 

Coach Innocent Egbunike's Lancers return to action on Friday, Oct. 10 when they race at the Manny Bautista Invitational at NTC Park, hosted by San Diego Mesa.
