Dylan Swillis, who helped Pasadena City College to two regional playoff appearances, was selected to the 2025 CCCMBCA All-State Men's Basketball Team.
A 6-foot-5 sophomore wing from Fresno, Swillis became the first All-State First Team selection since Taj Spencer earned one in 2014.
He is the third Lancer in three seasons under head coach Ryan Frazer to receive state recognition following All-State honorable mentions that went to Jonathan Tchengang in 2023 and Deen Abdur-Rahmann in 2024.
Also an All-South Coast Conference North Division First Team choice, Swillis averaged 18.6 points and 9.5 rebounds this past season as the Lancers reached the second round of the SoCal Regionals. He became just the seventh player in PCC's 100-year history in men's basketball to score at least 40 points in a game when he poured in 41 in the #15 seeded Lancers' 80-75 loss at #2 Citrus on March 1.
Swillis was at his best in the postseason. In four playoff games in his two Lancers seasons (two home regional victories), he totaled 94 points and 40 rebounds. He averaged 23.5 points and 10 boards per contest while making a phenomenal 70.2 percent from the field. He also was 79 percent efficient from the free throw line (15-for-19).
Swillis finishes his PCC career with 860 points, placing him #21 on the Lancers All-Time Scoring List.
