Anderson's Scoring Highlights Men's Hoops Play

After collecting 86 points in three games at the College of Sequoias Tournament, Pasadena City College forward McKay Anderson has established himself as one of the top scorers in the state this season. Anderson is at No. 4 overall among qualified players at 21.1 points a game. 

PCC went 1-2, losing the COS consolation final v. El Camino, 100-89, on Sunday. Anderson scored 23 points (7-for-8 on free throws) while Dejon Williams tallied 18 points with seven rebounds. Off the bench, Todd Barnes added 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. 

El Camino's Martyre Demarco poured in a game-high 30 points despite not being in the starting lineup. 

In the semifinals, Anderson scored a team season high of 35 points with nine rebounds and six assists in leading the Lancers to a 97-80 victory over Oxnard. He is the 21st Lancer in school history to score as many points in a game. 

Williams (plus 11 rebounds) and Barnes each added 15 points, and Skyler Williams connected for 13. 

PCC (4-8 overall) opened the COS tourney with a tough 90-62 loss to the host Giants. Anderson powered his way to 28 points and nine rebounds. Skyler Williams was the only other Lancer in double digits with 11 points.
