Dual Season Ends, Swim Continues With ELAC/PCC Invitational
The Pasadena City College swim teams concluded the South Coast Conference dual meet portion of the schedule with a home meet at Pasadena Poly on Friday. The Lancers women lost v. El Camino, 157-52 and against East Los Angeles, 162-52. The men lost its solo dual to ECC, 189-41.

In the women's double dual, Emily Padilla won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:43.42 and the 200 butterfly (2:39.33) while placing second in the 500 freestyle.
Emily Wang scored third in the 200 breaststroke (3:14.62) and 200 individual medley (3:08.04).
On the men's side, Hazem Abdelaty scored the win in the 1,000 freestyle in 11:31.99, placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:34.89), and took third in the 200 butterfly (2:29.19). Michael Petersen swam first in the 100 freestyle (50.12) and third in the 200 backstroke (2:29.10).
The 400 freestyle relay squad of Petersen, Ethan Toro, Xerxes Carmen and Abdelaty was third in 4:03.81.
The PCC men finished 2-5 in SCC duals while the women were 0-7.
On April 4-6, the Lancers will co-host with East Los Angeles in the ELAC/Pasadena Invitational at East LA's Swim Stadium. On April 18-20, PCC participates in the SCC Championships at Mt. San Antonio College.
