With no event wins and only a second place by sophomore high jumper Miles Johnson in the high jump, the Pasadena City College men's track and field team settled for fifth place out of six scoring colleges at the South Coast Conference Prelims and Championships held April 23/27 at Cerritos College.

Relay, Whitt Win For PCC At Bakersfield Relays

Jared Whitt improved on his state second-best mark in winning the triple jump and he was part of the triumphant Lancers 4x100 meter relay squad as the top Pasadena City College men's track and field performances at the Bakersfield Relays held March 16.

Men's Track and Field's Whitt Triple Jump Win At CSULA Meet Is State's #2 Mark

Pasadena City College men's track and field freshman Jared Whitt won the triple jump event at the Cerritos Open meet on Feb. 23 and in doing so has the state's No. 2 best mark in 2019. Whitt won on a leap of 46 feet-9 inches.

Sophomore Dylan Che placed second overall and fellow letterman Colin Schwantner won his heat and was third in the 800 meters races to highlight the Pasadena City College men's track and field team's performance at the Bakersfield Battle of the Regions Meet held Feb. 8.
