The Pasadena City College men's swim team placed fifth out of seven teams at the 2023 South Coast Conference Championships held April 20-22. If officially ends the year for Coach Terry Stoddard's crew.

The Pasadena City College men's swim team tried its best to "represent" at the 22nd Pasadena Invitational on Friday-Saturday and the Lancers obliged with a fifth place finish out of 11 teams at the event held at East Los Angeles College. PCC has not had access to the school's Aquatic Center due to interior pool damage since the start of last season.

Men's Swim Wins 8 Events In Final SCC Dual Meet

The Pasadena City College men's swim team completed the dual meet portion of the 2023 schedule with an impressive eight event victories in splitting a double dual, defeating Rio Hondo, 156-27, and losing to host Cerritos, 157-104, on Mar. 31.

Men's Swim Double Dual v. ECC, LBCC Produces 3 Event Wins

Sam Regan won the 500 and 1,000-yard freestyle events but the Pasadena City College men's swim team fell short v. host Long Beach CC, 162-80 while just being edged by El Camino, 123-113, in a South Coast Conference double dual meet held Mar. 17.

Men's Swim Shows Its Worth In Beating Chaffey

Sam Regan and Maxwell Ribaya each collected three event wins to lead the Pasadena City College men's swim team to its first South Coast Conference dual meet victory in three years on Friday. PCC defeated Chaffey, 120-108, in the event held at Polytechnic School in Pasadena.

Ribaya Leads PCC Men's Swimmers Into 2023 Season

Maxwell Ribaya, one of three newcomers out of Pasadena High, has stood out already as the top performer thus far for the 2023 Pasadena City College men's swim team. The Lancers competed at their second meet on Friday in the South Coast Conference Pentathlon held at El Camino College.
