After the program's most successful season since 2016, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team announced that four of its players have gained scholarships to attend a pair of 4-year universities.

Pasadena City College men's soccer team head coach Francisco Cantero knows something about beating state power Mt. San Antonio. Fourteen years ago, he did it as a player for the Lancers. On Saturday, he did it again as coach, directing his #15 seed squad to a monumental upset at #2 Mt. SAC, 4-2, in a Southern California Regional Round 2 game.

Angel Nolasco scored two goals and Ariel Hernandez headed in another as the #15 seed Pasadena City College men's soccer team won in its first SoCal Regional Playoff appearance in eight years, shutting out Bakersfield, 3-0, at Robinson Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

#15 Seed Men's Soccer Hosts First-Ever Playoff At Robinson Stadium On Nov. 20

In the history of Pasadena City College men's soccer team, the Lancers have hosted playoff games, but always off site due to not having a regulation field. The school reconfigured the field to a proper width a few years ago to set up Wednesday's first-ever postseason home game at Robinson Stadium as #15 seed PCC faces #18 Bakersfield in a SoCal Regional Round 1 game. Kickoff is 2 p.m.

The Pasadena CIty College men's soccer team came up with perhaps its biggest win of the season in defeating state #15 Los Angeles City, 1-0, on the road Tuesday night.

Men's Soccer Rebounds With Win Over LA Harbor

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team rebounded from a rough, 6-2 loss at defending 3C2A state champion El Camino on Tuesday by creating chances throughout a 4-1, South Coast Conference victory over visiting LA Harbor on Friday night.

SCC As Usual Tough Task For Men's Soccer

An impressive 8-2 record in non-conference play had the state #18 Pasadena City College men's soccer team in good spirits, but the start of South Coast Conference has been a more difficult endeavor. After state #1 Mt. San Antonio ended PCC's 5-match win streak on Tuesday, 2-0, #20 Cerritos handed the Lancers a hard-fought, 2-1 defeat on Friday.

Explosive 2nd Half Gives State #18 Men's Soccer 5th Win In Row

The state #18-ranked Pasadena City College men's soccer team scored three second-half goals to erase a 1-0 haltime deficit for the Lancers' fifth straight win on Friday. PCC downed Bakersfield, 3-1, in a non-conference game at Robinson Stadium.
