Cedillo, Rojas Named Men's Soccer All-SCC First Team

Freshman midfielder/defender Jorge Cedillo and sophomore midfielder Osmar Rojas were the Pasadena City College selections on the 2023 All-South Coast Conference First Team. The players helped PCC to its first better-than-.500 season in four years under first-year head coach Francisco Cantero.

Men's Soccer Takes 7th In SCC Tourney, Finish Above .500

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team closed out the 2023 season with a 2-0 win over Compton in the seventh place final of the South Coast Conference Tournament held Tuesday at Robinson Stadium.

Men's Soccer To Host SCC Tourney Game v. ELAC On Friday

Concluding the South Coast Conference regular season portion of the schedule, the Pasadena CIty College men's soccer team earned a #7 seed and will host #10 East Los Angeles College in the SCC Tournament on Friday, Nov. 3. Kickoff is 1:30 p.m. at Robinson Stadium preceding the women's game at 4 p.m.

SCC Opponents Take Toll On Men's Soccer

Playing in the most difficult league in the state--the South Coast Conference--the Pasadena City College men's soccer team has learned there is no room for breakdowns. Opponents have been quick striking on offense and while the Lancers have had their own moments of strong play, it's been a learning experience for them.

Men's Soccer Edges Compton, 1-0, For First SCC Win

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team needed a win and got just that on Friday in a physical, South Coast Conference victory over visiting Compton, 1-0, on Friday.

Gilmore Saves 2-2 Tie For Men's Soccer At #11 Long Beach

Matthew Gilmore made an impressive 14 saves and Jorge Cedillo scored two penalty kick goals a few minutes apart in the first half as the Pasadena City College men's soccer team earned a 2-2 tie at state #11-ranked Long Beach City College on Tuesday.

0-2 Start To South Coast Conference Play For Men's Soccer

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team went from a 5-game undefeated streak (3-0-2) to now losing three straight games, including an 0-2 beginning to the South Coast Conference schedule. Visiting Los Angeles City College edged the Lancers, 1-0, on Friday.

Natural Hat Trick For Cedillo In Canyons Shutout

Scoring three goals in a game is an unusual feat, but a player scoring three straight without interuption is truly rare. Jorge Cedillo performed the natural hat trick on Tuesday night as the Pasadena City College men's soccer team blanked host College of the Canyons, 3-0.

Men's Soccer Explodes For Most Goals In 21 Years

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team spread the wealth as nine different players scored goals in the highest-scoring Lancers game since 2002--a 9-0 rout over Imperial Valley. The non-conference game was played Friday at Robinson Stadium.

Comeback Kids: Another Rally For PCC, Gain 4-4 Tie v. Pierce

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team hasn't been starting games well, but it has been finishing them with a flourish. For the second straight game, the Lancers rallied from a deficit, this time a 3-0, first-half hole to pull out a 4-4 tie v. Pierce on Tuesday at Robinson Stadium.

Nolasco's Hattie Rallies Men's Soccer

Down 2-0 in the first half v. a winless Orange Coast College squad, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team didn't get down on itself. Instead, the Lancers went back to its game plan of attack as Angel Nolasco scored three goals and Osmar Rojas added a goal and two assists in a 4-2 comeback victory Friday at Robinson Stadium.

Rojas Late Goal Earns PCC Tie At Glendale

Osmar Rojas scored with four minutes left to give the Pasadena City College men's soccer team a 2-2 tie at Glendale Tuesday night. Rojas took a cross by Jorge Cedillo, then turned and fired a 15-yard blast into the left corner of the net.
